Score: No. 19 Syracuse 75 Seton Hall 63 Stars: Syracuse: James Southerland 20 Pts, 6-for-9 3 Pt FGs. Michael Carter-Williams 6 Pts, 14 Ast. Brandon Triche 17 Pts, 5 Ast. C.J. Fair 16 Pts, 8 Reb.  Story: It’s been a rough few weeks for the Orange. The offense has struggled to score and the team got crushed in its last ever visit to Georgetown. But the Big East Tournament represents the start of a brand new season with the ability to have a fresh start. That fresh start is exactly what Syracuse got. The offense finally got things together, shooting over 50 percent from the field and 60 percent from deep. Guys like Triche and Southerland, who floundered against Georgetown, picked up the slack and scored when SU needed them most. If the offense finally found its rhythm, watch out. Seton Hall kept it close in the first half but couldn’t stop the Orange in the second. Even the big men were scoring, something that has happened all year. Christmas and Keita combined for 14 points, including a couple big time slams. ‘Cuse is back in action tomorrow against Pittsburgh. The Panthers took down Syracuse earlier this season but the Orange was without James Southerland. How much of a difference maker will he be? We’ll find out tomorrow. Syracuse fans breathe a sigh of relief: Syracuse 75, Seton Hall 63. Take a break and we’ll see you in @thegarden at 7pm for Villanova vs St John’s! #BigEast twitter.com/MSGSportsNYC/s… — MSG Sports (@MSGSportsNYC) March 13, 2013 Great Win for Syracuse Basketball it’s been a while but we’re back on track MCW had a great game and Southerland was shooting like normal. — Peter Adams(@peter_adams_25) March 13, 2013 Good win for Syracuse hopefully boosts confidence and they can make a run #orangenation #bigeasttournament #beatpitt — Justin Moore (@jmoore122195) March 13, 2013 Syracuse won.
