The Temple Owls just added another big man to their roster to help them in the frontcourt for this upcoming season. With the loss of Lavoy Allen and Michael Eric both to the NBA these past couple of seasons, the Owls needed another big man and they got their guy in Jake O'Brien.
O'Brien is a 6'9 forward who played at Boston University for three seasons. He will play his final season of college basketball at Temple and he is able to by signing a financial aid agreement with the school. O'Brien has already graduated from Boston University this past fall and will now be pursuing his master's degree in marketing.
He did not play last season due to a foot injury and was medically redshirted. But his three seasons at BU was good, as he was a double-double machine for the Terriers. While at Boston University, he accumulated 1,020 points and 444 rebounds in three seasons.
