A week from today college basketball begins. I forgot how much I enjoy the Maui Invitational and other tournaments around Thanksgiving. Obviously, there is a ton of football on around that time, but the basketball is pretty cool as well. Seeing we’re a week away from college hoops Unathletic is going to take a crack at which four teams you will see in the Final Four this year. Will there be a mid-major? Hit the jump to find out…. 4.) Creighton Blue Jays Well, I have to take one mid-major don’t I? So why not take a mid-major that’s ranked preseason and also has the best player in the country that no one has heard of; Doug McDermott. I like the Jays – they finished 29-6 last year and lost to #1-seeded UNC in tournament. Big things for Creighton this year, big things.. right? (I feel like the mid-major usually comes from a nobody team, not a ranked team.. oh well… Murray State maybe?)
