Ty Kish of CityLeagueHoopsTV recently uploaded a Gorgui Dieng highlight mix from the Adidas Nations event in Southern California earlier this summer. Dieng attended the event as a counselor along with teammates Peyton Siva and Wayne Blackshear.
Maybe it’s because he is going up against high school prospects in some of these pick-up games, but Gorgui looks like he’s added quite a bit of strength during the off-season. It’s pretty remarkable how much he’s been able change his body since arriving at Louisville. According to the official 2012-13 roster, Gorgui is now up to 245 pounds.

Former Cardinal sharp-shooter Preston Knowles recently agreed to terms with Kao Dramas of Greece’s top level professional league. Knowles spent last season playing in the NBDL and in the Ukraine. He spent just a few weeks with SK Dnipro Azot of Ukraine’s Super League. In three games, he averaged 1.7 points in 12 minutes per game.
Knowles had much more success once he joined...
Today is the first day of the open contact period where recruiters can make in-person contact with prospects. As I mentioned earlier this week, Rick Pitino is in Florida visiting with Chris Jones, a JUCO point guard at Northwest Florida State College. However, Jones isn’t the only prospect that earned a visit from the future hall-of-fame coach this afternoon. While in the sunshine...
Jarrell Martin, a 5-star forward from Baton Rouge, LA., is expected to receive a visit from a member of the Louisville coaching staff today. With Rick Pitino and Kevin Keatts both heading to Hargrave Military Academy, I can only assume that Louisville assistant Wyking Jones is the one who will travel to see Martin.
As of last month, Martin, a 6-foot-8 hybrid forward had trimmed his...

For those who aren’t familiar with ESPN3, this basically means you will have to watch the game via...
Teddy Bridgewater kept No. 23 Louisville's offense clicking Saturday by passing for a career-high 344 yards and two touchdowns, while the defense stifled Missouri State in a 35-7 rout.
Despite a statistical falloff from last week's 19-of-21 effort against Kentucky, Bridgewater still completed 30 of 39 passing attempts. He once again involved others and often, with seven...
The University of Louisville football team puts a 2-0 record on the line this weekend when the Cardinals host North Carolina at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. U of L coach Charlie Strong talked about the game on Monday.
Safety Calvin Pryor has quickly established himself as a key figure in the Cardinals defense. The sophomore is also developing a reputation for making the big play.
University of Louisville senior tight end Nate Nord, injured most of his career, came up with one of the biggest plays of the day during a 35-7 win over Missouri State on Saturday at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
