John Beilein met with the media this afternoon to discuss Michigan’s Wednesday night rematch against the Indiana Hoosiers. Beilein did provide an update on Jon Horford’s status, noting that the sophomore big man is still not cleared to practice full court. Another road game for Indiana, and unfortunately another road loss.
Michigan jumped all over Indiana early, racing out to a 13-0 run. In his postgame press conference, Tom Crean called his starters “a joke.” From that point, Indiana outscored the Wolverines by one, but a valiant effort from Jordan Hulls and a few others wasn’t enough as the Hoosiers lost 68-56.
Indiana’s wins against Kentucky and Ohio State remain the two best victories in the country this season.
But the Hoosiers didn’t need either of those wins in the way they needed their 103-89 victory against Iowa on Sunday.

For all the attention Trey Burke has received for his outstanding freshman season, he has some Big Ten competition. Indiana freshman forward Cody Zeller is averaging 15.2 points and has only two single-figure scoring games the entire Big Ten season.

Michigan looks to stay undefeated at home as it hosts the Indiana Hoosiers for an early 6:30 p.m. tip off at the Crisler Center. Fan favorite Gus Johnson is on the call along with Shon Morris for the Big Ten Network. The big news out of warmups is that Jon Horford is dressed, whether he plays or not remains to be seen.
