Russ Smith was one of the multiple current and future Louisville Cardinals that participate in the Adidas Nations camp in Long Beach, CA. Russ’ team claimed the championship of the tournament that took place between the college counselors at the camp.
Smith went up against his future backcourt mate Chris Jones in the championship game and led his team with 23-points on 16-shots. Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.com was in attendance and said Russ was scoring at will and giving Jones a lot of trouble on defense.
CityLeagueHoopsTV.com captured this highlight clip of Russ during one of the scrimmages at the camp. Despite being just a shade over 6-feet tall, Russ has proven that he can dunk, but he seems have a little bit of an extra bounce on this breakaway dunk.
