Lauren Walson/College Spun While the Spartans basketball season has come to an end, one question still remains. Will Adreian Payne forgo his senior year and enter the NBA Draft? The 6-foot-10 junior surprised everyone this season with his versatility and the improvement he made from his sophomore to junior year.   Payne averaged 10.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, along with showing he has the ability to shoot from the 3-point line. According to M-Live, Michigan State’s head coach, Tom Izzo, mentioned that if Payne were to stay for his senior year, there is a great chance of him ”hanging his own banner” at the Breslin Center. Payne is one of those players who is always putting in extra time. He was even found shooting around and watching video on Easter Sunday, two days following the loss to Duke. Of course, Tom Izzo wants Adreian Payne to make the best decision for himself. Spartans fans would all like to see him back next season. Just like every other undergrad, Payne will have to make his decision by April 28. @adreian_payne Don’t leave Spartan Nation yet!! #nextyearwillbeoutofcontrol #Spartans — LR Wallace (@lindsaywalla) April 3, 2013 @adreian_payne you should stay for your senior year you guys would really have a chance to make a final four — Alex Demers (@alex_demers1) April 3, 2013 @adreian_payne Proud of u AP.
