Found March 19, 2013 on USA Sports 360:
PLAYERS: Cody Zeller
TEAMS: Indiana Hoosiers
Who doesn’t think the Indiana Hoosiers are going to win the NCAA March Madness tournament? Everyone is talking about Indiana, they should already be placing their name on the trophy the way people are talking. Vegas odds makers even have the Hoosiers as a favorite. The key to stopping the Hoosiers from winning is shutting down the big man Cody Zeller. This kid is not only huge at 7 foot tall and 240 pounds playing forward, he can score at will. Zelller shoots .573%, he is a great forward and if you are going to contend with the Hoosiers this March you have to deal with slowing down Zeller first. If he get going early  and make shots at will, the Hoosiers are going to be tough to beat. If teams can play some great defense and force the Hoosiers to take low percentage shots then they have a chance. Once the Hoosiers are forced to play, they tend to risk too many long shots. If teams can’t defend the Hoosiers and they are allowed to play their kind of basketball, forget it, it will be over before it gets started. Take Zeller out of his comfort zone and you just might have a chance. That is easier said than done…..

(Eds: APNewsNow. With AP Photos.) By MICHAEL MAROT AP Sports Writer Indiana's Victor Oladipo has spent the last three years working to become a better basketball player. They don't get much better than this. The overlooked high school recruit has devoted countless hours in the gym to working on his shot, to become a defensive stopper, and now the effervescent son of Nigerian...

Sportz Assassin's East Region Preview

TEAM TO BEAT: Indiana. The Hoosiers have been the favorite to win the National Championship all year long.  They've shown quite a few weaknesses, but there isn't a team in the field that could dominate this tournament like Indiana.  TEAM THAT WILL WIN THE REGION: Indiana. I think they have an easy road to the Elite 8, where they will meet Miami or Marquette.  While both...

Betting Odds To Win East Region

When it comes to the NCAA Tournament, the East is usually full of heavy weights from the East Coast. This year, none of the usual suspects closed when they needed to and opened up the top spot for Indiana. The Hoosiers also failed to win their Conference Tourney, but they are a legit No.1 from a very tough Big Ten. So it makes sense they are the odds on favorite to win the East when...

Film Session: Trouble defending the 3-ball

After Indiana’s loss to Wisconsin on Saturday, Tom Crean took to Twitter. “We didn’t take advantage of some opportunities today,” he wrote. “To[o] many costly turnovers and over helping. We gave up to[o] many 3′s because of it. In the last 10 games we have held the opponents to 29% from 3. Today we overhelped on drives and it caught us. We will get that corrected....
