Zach Price announced a while ago that he was planning to transfer schools.  After visiting schools like Dayton and Purdue, Zach Price finally decided on Missouri and Frank Haith.  Price announced his decision to the world via twitter. With the signing of the former Louisville big man, Haith has pulled in his second transfer of the offseason.  Last month former Baylor guard Duece Bello transfered to Mizzou as well.  Both Bello and Price will have to sit out the 2013-2014 seasons due to NCAA rules. While at Louisville, Price appeared in 35 games.  In the 35 games that he appeared in he only averaged about 6 minutes a game and less than 1 point per game. It came as a surprise to me when Price announced that he was transferring to begin with.  Price probably would have seen a good amount of minutes early in the season, with a chance to prove that he could be an everyday player.  But now with Price out of the picture, it sets up what could be the beginning of a Harrell/Behanan starting backcourt.  If Harrell and Behanan can keep improving, Louisville could have one of the most athletic low post games in the country next year.  Add Akoy Agau and Mangok Mathiang into the equation and it could get really scary.  Also we cannot forget that Stephen Van Treese will come back next year.  I would look for Van Treese to get a lot of play time this season with Dieng gone.  Van Treese is a proven rebounder and hustle guy that can affect the game without scoring the ball. We wish the best to Zach Price at Missouri and hope that he can find success there.
