The top-ranked Baylor Bears faced the third-ranked UConn Huskies on Monday night and while the matchup between two top-tier programs was viewed as a big game for far more traditional reasons, but a photo snapped by AP photographer Jessica Hill capturing UConn coach Geno Auriemma patting the butt of Baylor coach Kim Mulkey before the game undoubtedly will be what everyone is talking about. And if a photo of a male women’s college basketball coach getting all handsy with a female women’s basketball coach’s posterior wasn’t newsworthy enough, the manner in which Auriemma explained the butt-pat following the game adds an additional layer of amusement to the already-excellent story.
