It has been less than a year since the Freeh Report was released, chronically the specifics involved in the Jerry Sandusky sexual molestation case and what the report called a concealment of Sandusky’s activity to the Board of Trustees by school president Graham Spanier, athletic director Tim Curley and most notably, legendary head coach football coach Joe Paterno. There was much fallout following the report, vacating of all wins from 1998 to 2011–112 wins in all. This caused Paterno to fall from #1 in all-time wins in the NCAA record books, to 12th. The school is currently on probation and suffering from several NCAA sanctions. Paterno passed away last January, and the family, for the most part, has remained quiet since the release of the Freeh report. Joe’s wife, Sue, is scheduled to sitdown with Katie Couric on Monday to discuss a secondary investigation, which also critiques the Freeh Report. Sue and the Paterno family hired her attorney to look into the report and investigate as far as they had to do discover what they needed, as she felt that Louis Freeh, former director of the FBI, unfairly judged her husband and the Penn State football program.
