Know It All Football:
There are plenty of names in the conversation: Archie Griffin, Tim Tebow, Roger Stabauch, Barry Sanders and Hershel Walker to name a few. Nobody, however, can step forward and definitively name one player as the single greatest player in college football history, which make it a great conversation.
Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron has a serious shot of inserting himself into that conversation in 2013. I’d argue that nobody in the history of the game has been quieter in getting themselves into the discussion, as names like Bridgewater, Manziel and Clowney have dominated most of the preseason Heisman conversation to this point.
In McCarron’s two seasons as a starter for the Alabama Crimson Tide, he has thrown for 5,567 yards, 46 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. During that time he has also amassed a record of 25-2 with two BCS Championships. Should he put up the average of those two seasons during his senior year, he’ll have finished his career with 8739 passing yards, 72 touchdowns a...

Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban has been sending out this photo of prospects that he recruited or coached that ended up in the NFL. Personally, I think it should just be a list of players that he coached that went drafted (which would still be a long list). Sure, showing which players he recruited shows that he can identify talent, but it only makes me think of the fact that he...
Alabama Crimson Tide long snapper Carson Tink was the first to tweet out a photo of the ring that commemorates the team’s BCS National Championship Game victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, a 42-14 thrashing at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on Jan. 7, 2013, but several more followed, including the pics above, courtesy of [...]The post Alabama Crimson Tide’s BCS national championship...
Alabama football coach Nick Saban apparently can’t catch a break from being referred to as the devil.
First, it was Vanderbilt coach, James Franklin, who called Saban “Nicky Satan”. Now, four months after that incident, Florida offensive line coach Tim Davis referred to Saban as “the devil himself” while speaking in front of Florida boosters. For reference, Davis coached...
It’s a good time to be an Alabama football player.
With this year’s victory over Notre Dame, Alabama marked the third time in four years that it is the national champion.
Crimson Tide players got rings commemorating the occasion this week. Aside from the usual diamond-encrusted look, the rings also have three tiny footballs on their face — marking the 2009, 2011 and 2012 championships...
Want to know what the ring given out for it's 28th 15th national title looks like? Wait no further, as Crimson Tide long snapper Carson Tinker tweeted out the following pic.

Alabama coach Nick Saban responded Thursday to critical comments by a former assistant coach, calling Tim Davis' words "terribly disappointing.", http://juicedsportsblog.com/sports-news/news/saban-devil-words-terribly-disappointing
The Alabama Crimson Tide football team received their 2012-13 BCS national championship rings recently from their 42-14 beat down of Notre Dame.
Alabama head football coach Nick Saban says he is hurt over comments by Florida offensive line coach Tim Davis, who referred to his former boss as “the devil himself.”
#1.) A.J. McCarron/ Alabama/ 6’4″, 210 : (25-2) as a starter for the Crimson Tide and with athletes all-around once again, look out for McCarron to have another great season as the SEC’s most polished passer. McCarron has the ability to make most throws, but his mechanically polished game and has natural leadership skills are going to drive scouts crazy.
2.) Johnny Manziel...
This isn’t a huge year for Alabama athletics representation into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in terms of numbers. There are only two with Crimson Tide history among the eight being inducted.
With a 13-13 Southeastern Conference record for Alabama baseball this year, and with No. 1 ranked Vanderbilt on the radar, it may not seem that the Crimson Tide had much schedule luck. But the truth is, the Tide’s wins were forged primarily against the lesser lights of the SEC. From at least one standpoint, though, things are good.

Things have been going well for Stephen Roberts. He's picked up an offer and committed to the University of Alabama, performed well at various camps of late and now has a spring game victory under his belt. The latter came on Tuesday, the same day his good friend and teammate picked up an offer from the Crimson Tide.
Is this an Alabama fan rocking a cowbell, or a Mississippi State fan trying to steal some of the Crimson Tide's championship thunder? We may never know.

It’s only 10:30 a.m., but we’re already a bit late to the game in the latest chapter of “Where in the World is Johnny Football.” After Manziel has spent his off-season traversing the globe, with pit-stops along the way at a casino (18+ of course!), numerous NBA and NFL games, and a soon-to-be bromantic getaway with A.J. McCarron, Manziel...
