TEMPE, Ariz. -- Just moments away from an Insight Bowl loss, the Iowa Hawkeyes nearly got some injury to go with their insult courtesy of a falling aerial camera. With the clock winding down and Iowa prepared to start an offensive drive in its own red zone, the camera positioned above the field suddenly came crashing down, nearly landing on Hawkeyes receiver Marvin McNutt Jr. The camera bounced and appeared to hit McNutt, who became tangled in the wires attached to it. "I feel like somebody was trying to kill me on their staff," McNutt joked after the game. "If you're (watching), I'm looking for you. No, but it was lucky it didn't hit me. That cord was pretty sharp, though." McNutt was not hurt, and it did not appear any member of the crowd was hurt. Play had to be suspended as officials dragged the camera off the field, and it was suspended again a few plays later when wire remained in the far end zone. The camera came from behind McNutt, who described the incident after the game. "First I was like, 'What is that that fell out of the sky?'" McNutt said. "The next think I know, the line from the camera was scratching me a little bit. I was pulling it and I knew I didn't want to keep going with it."
