Bobby Petrino and staff welcomed 21 signees on last week’s national signing day. However, Petrino made it clear that they were still hoping to add a couple of more defensive lineman to the class.
Three star prospects Tae Thibiodeaux and Pio Vatuvei are both being actively recruited by Louisville. As of Sunday evening, it appears there’s a new name to keep an eye on.
David Moala, a 6-foot-2, 315-pound, defensive tackle from Cerritos College in California will visit Louisville and is hoping to leave with a scholarship offer from Bobby Petrino.
Moala initially signed with Arizona State in 2011 and spent his freshman season with the Sun Devils. Unfortunately he was dismissed in the summer of 2012 for a violation of team standards. Moala then ended up at Cerritos College.
Despite being one of the top 100 defensive tackles in the 2011 class, Moala doesn’ thave scholarship offers from many high level programs.
