Former LSU safety Chad Jones is working to get back to the NFL. Jones was drafted in the 3rd round by the New York Giants, but tragically saw his chances of playing in the NFL diminish after he was involved in a horrific accident in New Orleans. Jones’ tire caught on one of the trolley tracks that run parallel with the road and whipped into a pole that didn’t have any give in it. The car was completely destroyed and had crushed Jones’ leg to the point that doctors thought he may lose it. Had it not been for the muscle in his leg he may have lost his leg completely.
Jones, since that day 2 years ago when he almost lost his leg, has been working hard to return to the NFL and just recently had the metal in his leg removed so that he may further heal in order to return in 2013.
Here is a documentary video put together chronicles his journey. *contains some images that are pretty graphic*
Good luck Mr Jones. You are an inspiration.

And here you figured Honey Badger wasn’t really going to enroll in class at LSU and actually attend class. Wrong (at least for the first week.) Here is the legendary weed toker getting comfortable in his element. Notice the level of preparation: notebook, ink pen, surfing the Internet. Will the Honey Badger just run and hide at some FCS school just to play football? Absolutely...

LSU dismissed its starting corner back, Tyrann Mathieu, from its football team on August 10th, for a violation of team and school rules. Mathieu then enrolled in a Houston rehab center in lieu of transferring to another school.
Mathieu was not kicked out of LSU and has since re-enrolled at the school. The Honey Badger was spotted in class a few days ago and then at LSU’s game...
The LSU Tigers are currently up 34-3 in the 3rd quarter and it doesn’t appear they are slowing down. Running back Spencer Ware has had a great game after being a no-show last week due to a thigh injury.
When Tyrann Mathieu checked into rehab last month we speculated that he'd be back in a Tigers uniform before everything was said and done. The Honey Badger certainly has a long way to go before donning purple and gold again, but he took a huge step this week, enrolling in classes for the fall semester. Mathieu completed the "treatment phase" at the Right Step rehab...
(Baton Rouge, LA) - Alfred Blue's explosive runs were too tough for Washington to handle and the rest of LSU's running backs made it a really long night for the overmatched Huskies. Blue rushed for 101 yards, including a 21-yard score, and No. 3 LSU racked up 242 yards on the ground in a 41-3 victory over Washington on Saturday night.
