Found April 14, 2012 on Throw The Flag:
PLAYERS: Jeff Driskel
TEAMS: Florida Gators
Via @TarinMosesEvery year Auburn holds a huge rodeo in Alabama that is a big hit (obviously). From what I’ve heard, it’s all booze and country folk and a pretty good time. The Florida Gators still have not announced who the starting quarterback will be but my bet is on Jeff Driskel who happens to be in Auburn, Alabama for the rodeo. Hopefully no Auburn coaches offer him 180 grand for him to transfer.Tarin and Jeff definitely look ready for the rodeo. Stay away from him fans of other SEC schools!

UF Quarterback Is In Auburn For A Rodeo With His Cheerleader Girlfriend

That is the University of Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel with his smoking hot cheerleader girlfriend @TarinMoses in Auburn, Alabama. They are getting ready for one of the biggest annual rodeos in America that is this weekend. Jeff Driskel is competing for the starting QB job with Jacoby Brissett on Muschamp’s squad. They are definitely dressed for the rodeo and look to have...

Former Florida Gators basketball great Dwayne Schintzius has died at the age of 43. Schintzius – who also played in the NBA for eight seasons – died on Sunday from respiratory failure following his more than two-year battle with leukemia. He has received a bone marrow transplant as part of the treatment for chronic myelomonocytic leukemia, but had battled complications recently...

Taylor Gushue, The Key To The Florida Gators Future

It’s difficult to not root for an athlete like Taylor Gushue. The freshman baseball player came to the Florida Gators a semester early, forgoing an opportunity to go pro before his junior season, and is performing admirably as a key member of the team. Although his batting average gas dipped as the season has progressed, Gushue is a year younger than the typical freshman player...

No. 3/4 Softball Completes Sweep of Auburn

Florida defeated Auburn 5-2 on Sunday for their 7th consecutive SEC series win. Sophomore righty for the Gators Hannah Rodgers pitched 6 scoreless innings for her 19th complete game of the season, giving up 2 runs, 6 hits and fanning 5. Gators Take Early Lead, Cruise to Series Win

No. 4 Florida didn’t waste any time erasing the bad memories left by Saturday’s loss. The Gators scored four runs in the first inning, keyed by a Brian Johnson three-run double, and didn’t look back from there. Johnson also gave Florida six shutout innings on the mound Sunday as the Gators clinched the series win over Tennessee with an 8-1 win in Knoxville.

Janoris Jenkins continued drug use at North Alabama

Yesterday, I addressed how I thought teams should handle off-field problems of players and prospects. In that piece, I mentioned that Janoris Jenkins would likely be the poster-boy for prospects with potential character issues. It would seem that I made an accurate assessment. It was reported by Albert Breer that Jenkins continued his drug use even after he chose to move to North...

This is why you don’t park too close to a baseball stadium

Via @KarlaStricklandRule number 1 of a baseball game is never park too close to the stadium. This picture shows why. Brian Johnson of the Florida Gators hit a homerun and nailed this guy’s car. It turned out to be a Tennessee’s fan car. He will have a long drive back to Knoxville with that in his windshield. The Florida Gators would fall to the Tennessee Volunteers 5-4.H/T Alligator Army

2012 Basketball Recruiting: Battle For Anthony Bennett Comes Down To Florida And Kentucky

The recruitment of Anthony Bennett will be a hot topic for quite some time. Or at least until the nation’s best remaining player makes his decision known to the world. Bennett has a number of options when it comes to the school he chooses to play for, but many think it all comes down to the Florida Gators and the Kentucky Wildcats. On Friday, I had to opportunity to provide James...

Baseball Recap: Tennessee 5 – Florida 4; Vols Even Series At 1-1

For the second game in a row, generating runs wasn’t easy for the No. 7 Florida Gators baseball team. In game one against the Tennessee Volunteers, three runs was enough. In game two, four wasn’t. Tennessee evened the series at one game a piece with a 5-4 victory on Saturday. The Vols actually had one less hit than they had on Friday night (eight compared to nine), but their...

There’s a new Walker in town. On a day that was largely dominated by Bradley Beal’s decision to go pro, the Florida Gators received some good news with DeVon Walker’s commitment by signing his letter of intent Friday. Walker also held offers from Alabama, Clemson, Connecticut, Georgia, Kansas State, Miami and UCF, but his final choice came down to the Gators and Crimson Tide...
