Remember when LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson got all brawl-y and got himself suspended for being a part of an assault on what has regularly been described as a defenseless man. Well, that happened way back on August 19th, so maybe Jefferson has forgotten all about it. And now he thinks he should be LSU’s starting quarterback now that he’s no longer suspended.
Jefferson told reporters on Monday that his goal is to be the starter and he’s going to do whatever it takes to get there. I’m gonna go ahead and presume that when he says “whatever it takes” he doesn’t mean he’s planning on jumping and beating the crap out of current starter Jarrett Lee. Though given Jefferson’s history we can’t rule anything out.
Jefferson said the following about his current status:
“I don’t feel like I’m behind. I’ve been working out a lot. I’ve been in the toughest battles there are. I have a 20-7 record which is very high for a quarterback at LSU. I’ve been leading LSU for three years. Wh
