In a game where The Nebraska Cornhuskers were ten point favorites, The Minnesota Golden Gophers powered their way through the number 24 team in the nation with a 34-23 victory.

The Gophers slashed the Cornhusker defense racking up 271 yards on the ground. The rushing attack was led by junior running back David Cobb who finished the day with 138 yards on 31 carries.

The Golden Gophers move to 6-2 on the season and 2-2 in Big Ten Play. Nebraska falls to 5-2 on the year and 2-1 in conference.
