The Victory Formation:
The Nebraska Cornhuskers starting defense was nicknamed the blackshirts years ago. They wear black jerseys during practice to signify that they are the starters on the team. It is an honor to wear one. Now, everyone on the team will wear a black jersey, but this will be a in a game, thanks to adidas and the new alternate jersey the unveiled on Tuesday: These are way more attractive than the all red look they put out on the field when they played Wisonsin last year. We are not normally big fans of black jerseys for any sport, but this works with the white pants and the white helmet. We ever like the black midstripe on the helmet. If these really are a recruiting tool like they are supposed to be, I could see kids wanting to wear this uniform. H/T @adidasUS

Adidas teamed up with NU to produce a pretty mean looking jersey. Darren Rovell was the first to report the news:

If you're looking for uni hype video cliches, this one is full of it. Alternate unis? Check. Slowly getting tired gloves that create a complete image only when brought together? Check. Awkward postures and Krumping moves...
