What is at stake this week when the Ohio State Buckeyes take on the Michigan Wolverines? It is not a Bowl Game that’s for sure thanks to the NCAA who are still living in the 1950′s. The Buckeyes are on their way to a perfect 12-0 season, sure they can’t compete in any bowl games but that isn’t going to stop the Buckeyes from going to 10-0 on the season and the team sure is going to do what ever they can to hand head coach Urban Meyer a perfect season. The Ohio State Buckeyes are favored to win the game, most betting odds show Michigan at -3 coming into the Horseshoe on Saturday. You can throw those odds right out the window. This is the Ohio State/Michigane game and as we have seen throughout the history of one of sports greatest rivalries anything can happen in this game. Both teams elevate their games a bit more for this one. They run a little harder and you can bet they hit a little harder. Michigan has lost three games in 2012 and even with that said the teams are both pretty even when it come to this game. Urban Meyer is going to have to make sure the Buckeyes defense is firing on all cylinders. At least Fickle had a chance to live through the rivalry as the Buckeyes head coach last season. He should know what is on the line this week and he should have his defense ready to play from the first snap on. The Buckeyes offense has to get off to a great start and they cannot turn the ball over. Braxton Miller is going to have to protect the football which he has done well all season. Then their is the Michigan quarterback, it looks like Devin Gardner will get the start and he brings a bit better game through the air than Denard Robinson did. The Buckeyes are going to have to have great pass coverage to contend with this guy. if Ohio State can get to Gardner and pressure him, they could force him to make a few mistakes. The Buckeyes are going to have their hands full in this game. I think Buckeye Nation will have the Ohio Stadium rocking and the Ohio State Buckeyes can pull off the perfect season. It is going to be one heck of a football game. Tell us what you think, leave your comments below. Who do you think is going to win this game?
