The 3-1 USC Trojans of 2012 have so far been mostly disappointing.Going from a preseason ranking in the top 2, to dropping a lackluster game to an unimpressive Stanford Cardinal. Then rounding things out with an uninspired win over the Cal Bears. This Thursday, the Trojans travel to face a 2-2 Utah Utes squad that has had problems of it's own including a major setback in a 37-7 loss to Arizona State. Both teams have had a bye week to iron out some of the wrinkles and allow tired players to rest.  What should fans expect to see that perhaps they hadn't anticipated? Find out with the following crystal ball report:1. Matt Barkley will be sacked, perhaps a lot. It's no secret that the USC offensive line has had some issues, especially with the injury to key front man, center Khalid Holmes. The Utes' defense is no doubt aware that if they can contain Barkley, their job will be a lot easier.  Expect to see a lot of blitzes as Utah attempts to throw the USC quarterback off hi...

Kiffin Says Markowitz Will Play a Role

USC fifth-year senior Abe Markowitz has barely seen the field during his time as a Trojan after redshirting and being plagued by injury. But this season, his last, could prove to be the one he's waited for.

Keep Away from Robey

USC cornerback Nickell Robey is a third-year returning starter and co-captain for the Trojans. He's a Thorpe Award candidate, but isn't putting up the big numbers expected during his junior season and it's no fault of his own...

USC Trojans at Utah Utes College Football Week 6 Pac-12 Preview Follow @Dan Vasta Thursday night football will be interesting once again with the USC Trojans attracting most fans across the country. USC-Utah: Five Keys to Thursday Night's Game

While Thursday night college football has become a bit of a quirky, fun novelty in the past, this Thursday, there’s nothing fun or quirky about USC’s trip to Utah. For the Trojans, a loss here would all but eliminate them from not only BCS title contention, but possibly Pac-12 championship contender status too. As for Utah, well, at 2-3, they’re just holding on for dear life...
