Everyone was taking Clemson. Just about everyone in the Bowl Pickem chose Clemson. I mean, why would anyone take a Big East team. We knew West Virginia could light up the scoreboard, but so did the Tigers this year. It looked like Clemson would take the lead in the 2nd quarter of last night’s Orange Bowl, then this happened:
The Mountaineers would never look back, and Clemson would never threatened for the lead again, as West Virginia would go on and destroy Clemson 70-33. Yes, 70. Cannot wait to see what WVU does as an encore next season with a full season under Dana Holgorsen.
Darwin Cook’s 99-yard fumble return for a touchdown during West Virginia’s domination of Clemson during the Orange Bowl was pretty great, but not for the reason you may think. Following returning the fumble for a TD Cook sought out Obie, the Orange Bowl mascot, and tackled “him” in the back of the end zone. During a post game interview Darwin got some very surprising...

Obie the Orange Bowl mascot is a girl? During a post game interview West Virginia's 99-yard fumble returner Darwin Cook got some very surprising news which led to a priceless reaction. The news was that, in fact, the mascot was a young girl, whoops. The reaction seems to be more about the fact he is now a national woman beater than the fact that not all college football...

*West Virginia rolls in Orange Bowl: Wow. That first half was a spectacle. This is the offensive brilliance of new coach Dana Holgorsen -- why he is going to push the pedal down next season (and why he might be on the fast track for a top-tier -- or top-ish -- coaching job despite what some might describe as an erratic personality).*NFL Jobs: Jeff Fisher is reportedly down to the...
