The sprinters once again took center stage at the 95th Giro d'Italia.

Reigning World Champion, Mark Cavendish (Sky Procycling), regaled in the maglia rossa passione as the leader in the Points Classification, took the bunch sprint in front of Alexander Kristoff (Katusha Team) and his former lead-out man Mark Renshaw (Rabobank Cycling Team) to up his Giro d'Italia stage tally to three, and ten overall.

"Everything turned out perfectly for me in the finale, Cavendish told Cyclingnews. The team did a good job, my friends are very committed, but Geraint and the other lack a bit of experience. Give us a little time and our train will be perfect."
