The Fourth of July was made whole once again as Joey Chestnut returned to the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest after a one-year hiatus to devour the competition Friday for his 17th career title of the famed event at New York's Coney Island.
Joey Chestnut, who has won Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest a record 16 times, is back after being banned last year and is expected by the oddsmakers to secure his 17th title on the Fourth of July in New York.
