High school football prospect Yuri Wright was expelled from his school Wednesday for comments he posted on his Twitter account over the past few months. The 4 star prospect was being recruited by Rutgers, Colorado, and Notre Dame, and there are reports that Michigan has stopped recruiting him because of the tweets. You can check them out below (I tried to blank out all potentially offensive language, of which there is a ton, but still be warned)

If I learned anything about Wright via his Twitter feed, it’s this:
1: He listens to Lil Wayne (5th tweet from the bottom)
2: He really, really likes getting with girls
3: Either high school kids have replaced the word “dome” with “doom”, or Wright just can’t spell
4: He’s really not all that different then every other 18 year old that lives in this country, except for that fact that he has D1 level talent.
This is just another example of the danger of social media. It looks as if Wright’s account was protected, but in the world of Twitter, there really is never such a thing as a private conversation.
