A Glam Slam:
The much-antipiated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition was released earlier this week. Kate Upton snagged the coveted cover spot for the second year in a row, a feat that has not happened since Tyra Banks covered back-to-back issues in 1996 and 1997. While the magazine means endless opportunities for a model’s career, it’s also a business booster for featured apparel and accessory brands. Last year’s cover suit from Suit Yourself Bikinis by Kathleen Bruening sold out in just about 20 minutes. In this year’s “Bikini Oscars” as they’re often dubbed, Letarte Swimwear came out a winner. Like Upton, the company scored it’s second appearance on an SI Swimsuit Edition cover.
Designer Lisa Letarte Cabrinha’s suits from Letarte swimwear have made it into the edition every year that she has submitted swimsuits for consideration. Upton’s white, mesh bikini bottoms featured on the cover are part of the brand’s Summer collection. They are paired with a triangle bikini top, not seen on the cover. The full suit retails for $184 and is available for pre-order here.
Upton’s tiny bottoms are paired with a white jacket. Winter wear is not typically associated with the SI Swimsuit Edition but this shoot, which was three years in the making, took place in Antarctica. The fur-hooded “Chilliwack Bomber” comes from Canada Goose and it’s one of the brand’s most beloved styles. To snag the $595 jacket, check out these retailers.
More than 18 million women read the SI Swimsuit Edition and this year’s issue includes a new editorial feature to appeal to those female readers. The six-page, Target-sponsored “Style Guide” features swimsuit tips and trends to help women re-create looks within the pages of the magazine.

Kate Upton was interviewed by FOX 2′s Jason Carr Thursday morning promoting the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition and naturally was asked about her relationship with Tigers ace Justin Verlander. Specifically, Carr asked Upton about the supposed couple’s New Year’s getaway on the island of St. Thomas.
As you’ll see in the video, Upton went stone-faced and said:
Can you believe the internet survived this picture Juan?
Katherine Webb and Kate Upton appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman as part of 2013 Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue launch week…and now it appears they are BFF’s. I cannot remember a time when there was more promotional work done for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue than 2013. The models have been everywhere, especially cover girl Kate Upton. These ladies are turning up everywhere, and doing everything. Here are the swimsuit babes doing what everyone else is doing these days on YouTube, the Harlem Shake: I personally enjoyed the random...
Our friends at 106.7 The Fan in D.C. (@Holdenradio) snagged one of the hundreds of Kate Upton interviews offered up this week by Sports Illustrated and stayed away from the normal fluff questions. These guys went straight to the moneyshot.
We have a bet going. Have you ever seen Star Wars?:
“Of course. I’ve seen all of the Star Wars.”

I think the big news is Atlanta’s Josh Smith. Other than that there isn’t much to get me excited. If the Nets make a solid move they could be legit contenders in the East. We will see how it plays out….

We like Skullcandy as a brand. We like Kate Upton as an…anything? So, naturally we are not opposed when the two come together in fairly humorous spots. The first time we saw the pair was for the debut of the cleverly-conceived “Take a Supermodel to Work” spots, alongside Kevin Durant and James Harden.
Well, now, coincidentally (Read: NOT) as the hype of another SI Swimsuit...
This is probably the best Valentine's Day news ever. Kate Upton is single and no longer dating Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Upton. Kate and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Architect M.J. Day

Shame on you if your lazy ass sat through last night’s celebrity all-star game. Name one reason, other than to stare at Ryen Russillo’s bald spot or to admire Russell Westbrook’s glasses/attire, that you should’ve been watching that garbage? You can’t.
Baseball’s celebrity game is better than this garbage because they invite chicks like Kate Upton to play.
