According to Stan Goldstein, the notable Bruce Springsteen biographer and author, “The Boss” may be performing at Citi Field for at least one night during their 2012 World Tour which is set to begin in May following the release of their new album and end in the fall when the band returns to the United States. One thing that has been confirmed is that Springsteen will be touring with the E Street Band minus, of course, the great saxophonist Clarence Clemons who passed away last June. The internet is buzzing with the news and one rock music site speculates that there will performances slated for either MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands, Yankee Stadium, Citi Field or even all three outdoor venues sometime around August or September. There is also the possibility of one indoor show, most likely at the Prudential Center.
