Picture When I watched the movie Inception I was amazed, mainly because Leonardo DiCaprio is a phenomenal actor. But the thought of having so much extra time to do things while you're sleeping was appealing. Researchers at Yale have determined that people who are lucid dreamers have the capability to teach themselves things while they sleep. Lucid dreamers are people who can know when they're dreaming and control their dreams (to an extent). Researchers believe that lucid dreamers will be able to learn while they're sleeping too.

I always knew this was somehow possible, not everything that Hollywood could dream up could be fake could it? I have had dreams where I realize I'm dreaming (usually during naps in the middle of the day), but I always freak out and wake up. Even if I didn't wake up I doubt I'd be doing anything useful with my time in a dream. It's a dream people, I can do whatever I want. What would I always want if I had control? Money and *******, that's about it. There's no way that anything productive would be getting done if I have a wonderland available while I'm sleeping.

TL;DR Researchers believe you can have people learn while they sleep but I don't think many people would use lucid dreaming for that.
