“My boobs are hanging out!” Now that was the funniest quote I have ever heard on Thursday night’s TNA show. If Brooke Hogan wasn’t Hulk’s daughter, there is no way in hell she would be on this show. It goes to show that it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. You had to figure something was going to happen, because it all wrestling “weddings” something happens and it usually isn’t the wedding. Although having Taz revealed as a member of Aces and Eights was a complete and total surprise to everyone. All of the online people thought Hogan was going to turn or even Brooke or Bully Ray, but none of it occurred. Taz is now in the group that is getting to be the size of the NWO back in its heyday. I don’t know if this is a good thing or bad thing right now. But either way, it gets us talking about it. I have to think because Taz really can’t wrestle anymore, he will be the mouthpiece of the group from here on in. That was the only segment I tuned in for, just to see what was going to happen with the so-called wedding of Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan. It’s time to talk WWE and some thoughts on some possible Wrestlemania matches. One match that I would love to see is Punk vs. Undertaker. Why you ask? Well, Punk has had the title a hell of a long time and Undertaker is undefeated in all his matches for the biggest PPV of the year. So what better reason to have than a Title vs. Streak match? I would love to see that one. But the rumblings I am hearing is the Rock may just walk away with the title at the Royal Rumble, that would be a huge mistake. I couldn’t careless how popular the Rock is for the WWE, if you want a decent Wrestlemania, don’t have Punk drop the title before the darn thing at Royal Rumble. Logistically it would be better for Taker to return and challenge Punk for the title at possibly Taker’s last WM ever. He could retire with the belt and have his Streak intact. And losing to the Undertaker wouldn’t be such a bad thing for Punk either. So many men have and their careers still went along just fine. I am just hoping the WWE doesn’t muck (trust me, I wanted to say the other word) this up. We shall see…. Speaking of the Rock, who could he go against at Wrestlemania to make us somewhat care about him and his match? Not Cena, been there done that, it doesn’t need to be rehashed. Although, it could happen if Rock is the title holder going into the PPV, which would mean Cena walks away with the title when all is said and done, I don’t want to see this happen, but it could…anyways, my thought for a challenger for the Rock would be Stone Cold Steve Austin. Why? Why not. Those two always had magic when they went against each other and it wouldn’t have to be for the title either. Both have had a lot of success in the ring and out of the ring (yes, I know, the Rock has had better success in the movie industry) just to see Stone Cold in one more match would be the cream of the crop of matches for this WM. Both do great with back and forth jabs at anyone they go after with the mic and maybe Stone Cold has been training to come back and put on one last show we would never forget. The rattlesnake would be my top pick. Or there is always the possibility for the Rock as champion to go against the Undertaker. Neither one has gone against each other at WM, so that would be my other pick for the Rock. I wouldn’t mind it so bad if this was the match that took place but I still like Punk vs. Undertaker. But damn it WWE, Do not have another Cena vs. Rock match, PLEASE!! Now that Big Show has been re-signed to the WWE, his only challenger for Wrestlemania should be Ryback. Big man vs. Big man. Do I really need to say anything else for this match? Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs. Christian, not entirely sure Christian will be back by that time, but I will be on the positive side and go with this match. Wade is moving up in the federation, so I will probably go with him winning the match, but Christian is the perfect match up for Wade. As most readers know by now, I have always liked Christian and his in ring work as well as his mic skills. This match up would benefit Barrett’s climb in the WWE and help boost Christian as well. They need each other to keep stepping up the ladder. It would be a great technical match for sure. Team Hell No vs. Rhodes Scholars vs. The New Age Outlaws for the Tag Team Championship, yes you got that right, the New Age Outlaws in this match. To me, it wouldn’t much matter who won the match because any of them are pretty damn good in the ring. Besides that, we need to see a tag team championship match take place and this would be a good one. All of them are great on the mic and they are all athletic enough to pull off a fine entertaining match. Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar, it will happen, you know it will. We want it to happen too…well, I do anyways… There are more ideas I have racing around in my head, but I will have to hold off on my choices for now. I do want to bring up the dismissal of Eve Torres due to her being burned out from the schedule of wrestling. What did you expect Eve, when you got into this profession? Everyone that has ever been a wrestler knows they will be traveling a lot every month and be away from family. Grow up, woman…c’est la vie, been nice watching you, whatever….The “Diva’s Division” sucks anyways so we aren’t really losing much. That’s my 3 cents worth, til next time…… The post Winters’ Dismay-Wrestlemania Hopes appeared first on TWNP - Wrestling News & Information.
