Thirty miles east of Broadway, on the famed Black Course at Bethpage State Park, Johnson will be sharing the 7,468-yard stage with headliners Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in a marquee grouping of the PGA Tour’s best. “They are two guys that you certainly can get caught up watching just because of the shots they can hit that I can’t hit,” Johnson said Tuesday. “I’m just hoping my boring golf kind of gets in the way, and that’s really what it boils down to.
