Found October 25, 2011 on Devil Ball Golf:
Luke Donald thought he had the PGA Tour's top-player award wrapped following an incredible Sunday charge at Disney that saw him come from behind to capture the tournament title and season-long money list in one of the best final round performances of the year. Based on the season Donald just had, you couldn't blame the guy if he voted for himself when the PGA Tour handed out Player of the Year ballots. With two wins and 14 top 10 finishes in 19 events, it's hard to argue anybody's had a better year than the current No. 1-ranked player in the world. Even Donald figured he was a near-lock for the award. After all, he won the final event of the year ... or so he thought. In a shocking move that left Donald shaking his head, the tour decided to postpone sending out POY ballots this week, deciding instead to wait a month and, wait for it, allow the HSBC  Champions event in China to count towards the tour's top honor. As golf columnist Steve Elling pointe...

Luke Donald Is Kinda Getting Screwed

The 2011 Player of the Year was a toss-up for most of the season. Well, until Luke Donald reeled off six birdies on the back nine at Disney a week ago, claiming his second PGA Tour win of the year, the money title, and basically the Player of the Year. Or so he thought. For some weird reason, the PGA Tour decided to postpone the Player of the Year voting until after the HSBC Champions...

A different ballot for the PGA Tour (AP)

The PGA Tour was going to send its postseason awards ballot to the players on Tuesday until realizing the World Golf Championship in Shanghai counts as official if a PGA Tour member wins. So it will wait until after the HSBC Champions next week. On a slow news day, this became a controversy, and in some corners a conspiracy against Luke Donald.

GolfTube: Money list drama dominates Fall Series finale

Sizing up the TV coverage from the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic ... and away we go. Let's be honest; very few people probably caught the final round of the Children's Miracle Newtork Hospital Classic.
