Hitting his second shot from the pond at the 3rd hole, Matt Every hit the shot of his life.  He elected not to take off his shoes and socks like Nicholas Thompson did on Saturday, but he one-upped Thompson by hitting the shot of the tournament.  There aren’t enough words to describe how truly incredible this shot was.  To spin the ball the backwards into the cup after hitting it out of the pond is simply astounding.  The shot moved Every to 4-under in the Final Round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Tiger, Arnold Palmer star in fantastic commercial

I watched this commercial prior to having any cups of coffee, so please excuse me as it hasn’t fully processed yet. I do believe I just watched Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods starring in a commercial for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 fighting a bunch of folks and Lee Trevino showing up in time for a groin finisher. If the Internet doesn’t break in some form or another over this I...

Sergio Garcia hits a shot from up in a tree

This is easily the most bizarre thing that I have ever seen in a golf tournament.  At #10 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Sergio Garcia hit his drive and his ball got stuck in a tree.  Rather than take a penalty for an unplayable ball, Garcia climbed up into the tree to try and hit a shot. When he got up there, he actually hit an incredible shot.  To turn your club backwards...

Sergio Garcia Attempts One-Handed Backwards Golf Shot From a Tree (Video)

This is probably the most athleticism you’ll see out of a golfer. During the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Sergio Garcia found himself in awkward situation when his ball somehow ended up nicely positioned in a tree according to a story courtesy of USA Today Sports. Garcia, proceeded to carefully climb the tree and then took a few minutes to position himself perfectly to make a very...

Golfer sticks shot from out of the water

Golfer Nicholas Thompson's tee shot on the par-3 17th hold landed on the edge of the water during Saturday's third round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament in Orlando. Thompson could have taken a drop, but instead he made the bold call to take off his shoes and socks, roll up his pants, and wade ankle-deep into the water to take the shot right there. In the...

Sergio Garcia climbs tree to hit crazy shot, withdraws from round (Video)

Sergio Garcia made one of the wildest golf shots we have seen, and it took place during the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational Sunday. Garcia’s tee shot on the 10th hole ended up in a tree, so he climbed the tree to locate the ball which was stuck between branches. He grabbed hold of a branch to his left and backhanded a shot that knocked the ball back onto the fairway...

Sergio Garcia plays a ball out of a tree!

Yep, it’s certain. I’ve seen it all. This morning at the Arnold Palmer Invitational Sergio Garcia landed his ball in a tree, AND PLAYED IT WHERE IT LIED!!! Move over Mickelson, this is flying to the top of the list of amazing oddball golf shots. Good play, Sergio!   He needs a tree iron.   The post Sergio Garcia plays a ball out of a tree! appeared first on The Sports Gag.

Sergio Garcia Hit A Ball Out Of A Tree…Backwards

This whole clip of Sergio Garcia hitting a ball out of a tree on the 10th hole during the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational is amazing, but long, so feel free to start watching at the 3:00 mark. Garcia hit his second shot on the par 4 into a tree where it lodged itself at the intersection of some branches about ten feet into the air. Instead of taking a one-stroke penalty...

Sergio Garcia climbs tree, hits ball with one-handed shot (Video)

In the annals of golf history, I don't think we've seen a shot like that one that PGA tour pro Sergio Garcia pulled off in the first round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. After the first shot on the 10th hole, Sergio's ball got stuck in a tree near the fairway and instead of taking a penalty, Garcia decided to take his second shot backwards while straddling a couple...

How to Hit a Golf Shot From the Water by Nicholas Thompson

How do you know a golfer really wants to do whatever it takes to win? Well, he could get his hand bitten off by a gator while reaching for a ball? Too extreme? Or too Hollywood? Losing limbs is not necessary, but it doesn't hurt to make an awesome shot from the water to prove you have the drive and determination it takes to win. Don't worry. You can take your shoes...

Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer face off in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 commercial (Video)

The ad wizards over at EA Sports have put together some classic commercials over the years but this latest one for "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14" might take the cake as one of the best. It features Tiger and legendary golfer Arnold Palmer as they do their best to hold out their Masters/U.S. Open trophies as they fight a group trying to take them away: Who knew Arnold...
