Today’s dose of Poulter comes following some impromptu pillow testing the Englishman decided to do during a trip to Target.Testing the firmness of a new couple of pillows in @Target. I think I’ve found something that works just nicely. pic.twitter.com/pLPof4NUuz— Ian Poulter (@IanJamesPoulter) June 4, 2014 Talk about asleep on your feet, Poulter is all but drooling into that thing in the middle of the aisle. Can’t blame the guy though, can you? With as busy as Poulter is giving away his Ford GT and hooking up random Twitter followers with tickets to the FedEx St. Jude Classic, you get tired. Sometimes you just need to put your head down and rest. I feel you, Poults. I feel you. Related: Poulter Gives Twitter Follower Golf Tickets, Because He AskedMatt Kuchar Signs Signature Shoe Deal with SketchersMatt Kuchar isn’t a major champion yet, but he has officially reached super-stardom with his new shoe deal with Skechers footwear.  Excited to announce that @PGATOUR champion #MattKuchar will be the 1st brand ambassador of our Skechers #GOgolf line. pic.twitter.com/Y7X7mAnWV2— Skechers Performance (@skechersGO) June 4, 2014 OK sure, it’s not the shoe deal that makes the star, but it certainly is a feather in Kuchar’s cap. Now all that’s left is that major.Related Link: 9 Best Golfers Yet to Win a MajorTom Watson, Jack Nicklaus to Tackle Champions Tour Par-3 CourseThis week, the Champions Tour is doing something very cool and unprecedented. For the first time ever, a professional golf event will be held on a par-3 course and will bring legends of the game like Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson out to try their hand at it. The Top of the Rock par-3 course in Ridgedale, Mo., will be used as part of the Champions Tour’s Big Cedar Legends of Golf tournament. The format will see players play one round at Top of the Rock and one at the Buffalo Ridge course, with the event culminating in a showdown on the par-3 track on Sunday. When asked about the idea, 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus said, “We’re at an important juncture in the evolution of our game. We need to embrace innovation, new ideas and out-of-the-box thinking that inspires people to get off the couch and play this great game. We need to come up with new golf experiences. We need to think in terms of shorter, faster, and more fun.” And for the first time in a long time, I’m really excited to watch a Champions Tour event. Related Link: Jay Haas, Nick Price Chosen as Presidents Cup CaptainsIn Case You Missed ItKate Upton is Not Happy with Los Angeles Country Club The Los Angeles Country Club sits right in Beverly Hills.
