Life is indeed good for Tiger Woods. Not only does he have his mojo back off the course, but the man appears to have it on the links as well. After shooting a 6-under 66 on Saturday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational the former No. 1 golfer in the world is just 18 holes from removing the "former."
After a win at Doral a couple weeks ago he became the No. 2 golfer in the world in need of a win to retake the top spot for the first time since October 2010.
It's a pretty cut and dry situation. His 6-under round Saturday put him at 11-under for the tournament and gave him a two-stroke lead on John Huh, Justin Rose, and Rickie Fowler (all at 9-under).
So win on Sunday and he retakes his old familiar seat on top of the golfing world.

And say what you want about Tiger’s new gal, Lindsey...

Putts are falling, fists are pumping, rivals melting.
Golf is going back to the future.
Somehow, a Saturday at Bay Hill that began rather gloomily for Tiger Woods ended with such familiarity.

I watched this commercial prior to having any cups of coffee, so please excuse me as it hasn’t fully processed yet. I do believe I just watched Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods starring in a commercial for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 fighting a bunch of folks and Lee Trevino showing up in time for a groin finisher. If the Internet doesn’t break in some form or another over this I...

Eight-hundred-and-seventy-seven days after his reign ended and he was banished to rankings exile - to the pit of No. 58 - Tiger Woods has reclaimed his throne.
On a sun-splashed Monday afternoon, Woods won the Arnold Palmer Invitational for a record eighth time and in so doing deposed Rory McIlroy to regain the No. 1 ranking he lost in October 2010.
Let’s go back to November 6, 2011. If you’re a golf fan, this was a weird time for you. You had seen Tiger Woods dominate the golf world for more than a decade. But on that early November day, possibly the greatest golfer of all time sat at 58 in the Official World Golf Rankings. It was unfathomable two years earlier. In 2009, it seemed as if Tiger would break every...
