written By Clifford, Santa Monica I’m as up-in-the-air about the likelihood of Tiger adding another major win to his portfolio as everyone else at this point; A quick glance of the poll above indicates that roughly 50% say “HELL YEAH!!” while the remainder say “HELL NO!!” With all of his coaching changes, swing alterations and the the ravages caused by Father Time, I’m no longer as convinced as I once was that Eldrick will settle himself down and resume approximating his earlier successes in majors. But I’m among the very few who contends that if Tiger wins even ONE major–especially if it comes in 2013– then I’m inclined to think that he’ll win SEVERAL of them before his career is over–and YES, I think he can still catch (and pass) Jack. And THAT’S because the 800 pound gorilla that he’s been carrying around since the scandal broke about his off-the-course shenanigans will finally have lifted. which will allow him to relax and be more like the Tiger of old, though not
