Gold medalist Ross headlines American Cup field

Olympic women's gymnastics team gold medalist Kyla Ross and Olympic men's gymnastics bronze medalist Danell Leyva highlight the field for the 2013 American Cup. The eight-man, eight-woman field will also feature U.S. men's Olympic team member Jake Dalton and U.S. Olympic alternate Elizabeth Price. The competition will also include Olympic men's all-around silver medalist Marcel Nguyen of Germany and British gymnast Kristian Thomas, who helped lead the host country to an Olympic bronze medal in the team competition. Three top-10 finishers in the women's all-around in London are scheduled to attend: Vanessa Ferrari of Italy, Asuka Teramoto of Japan and Larissa Iordache of Romania. Olympians Sergio Sasaki of Brazil and Oleg Verniaiev of Ukraine will compete on the men's side. The one-day event is scheduled for March 2 in Worcester, Mass.
