  • Would have cleared at 70 yards.
  • A great feat. But to compare this kick to any other level is not a good comparison. High School football uses a 2 inch high block to kick off of. College uses a 1 inch block and the Pro's do not use a block. The lower the ball the harder the kick.
  • Agree a great feat.........but no block was used if you watch the video.....ball was kicked from the turf at Albi Stadium.
  • That's on kickoffs. Look at the video. He kicked it off the turf.
  • Tee or no tee still impressive as hell
  • Wow. A high schooler breaking an NFL record mark??? I like to bash kickers as much as most football fans, but hats off to this kid. and yes, by the angle of the video, he seemed to have it by about 3 or 4 more yards.

Matthew Dellavedova taken to hospital for cramps after game

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova literally gave it everything he had for his team in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night. The backup guard, who is starting in Kyrie Irving’s stead, scored 20 points and brought down five rebounds in Cleveland’s 96-91 win over the Golden State Warriors. He also suffered extreme cramping during the 39-minute outing. According...

Steve Kerr: 'You'll see more of David Lee'

During Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Golden State Warriors put together a very uninspiring effort through three quarters. However, when power forward David Lee entered the game in the fourth quarter, things started to change. Cleveland had built a 17-point advantage with just 12 minutes remaining, largely due to Stephen Curry being a non-factor...

Cavaliers stun Warriors with Game 3 win, take series lead

The 2015 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors has not shown itself as an outstanding display of efficiency. But man, has it been exciting. Game 3 of the deadlocked series wasn’t much different than the previous two outings, with Cleveland taking a double-digit advantage at one point and putting Golden State on its collective heels. Then, just like...

Richard Sherman responds to Antonio Cromartie's criticism

Following a victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the 2014 NFC Championship, Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman declared himself “the best corner in the game.” More than a year later, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie still doesn’t agree with that statement, and he said as much last week in an interview with SiriusXM Radio (h/t NFL Media). “I...

Horry explains why Barkley on Rockets never worked

Back in 1996, Robert Horry was traded from the Houston Rockets to the Phoenix Suns as part of a package for current Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. Nearly 20 years after the fact, it appears that Horry still isn’t over that trade. Speaking about a wide range of NBA topics, including this year’s NBA Finals, Horry recently had this to say on Huffington Post Live: “Now they...

Giants pitcher Chris Heston throws no-hitter against Mets

It wasn’t Matt Cain. It wasn’t Tim Lincecum. It wasn’t 2014 World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner. Instead, little-known San Francisco Giants starter Chris Heston made history Tuesday night against the Mets in New York. Chris Heston. If you had the Chicago Cubs as the team reliever Rafael Soriano would sign with in your office pool, congratulations. (Some office out there was running such a pool, right?) Fifteen-year-old Cole Hammer qualifies for U.S. Open

It’s Hammer time.   The U.S. Open gets underway next week, and there will be at least one notable name — both in terms of names and age. Fifteen-year-old Cole Hammer, who is far too young to get any sort of MC Hammer references, has qualified for the tournament, and he’ll hit the links next to the big boys for one of the PGA Tour’s four majors. Hammer certainly...
