Great read from One of my favorite M’s bloggers/writers Greg Johns weighs in today with a great post on the state of the Mariners arms in the organization. Johns details how the M’s will move forward with the likes of Taijuan Walker, James Paxton and the speaks about the development of youngsters Erasmo Ramirez and Brandon Maurer. After several years of talking about the eventual arrival of some premier pitching prospects, the Mariners finally got a taste of that future in 2013. “If you look at the starters we broke camp with here in the first three years versus what they could potentially break camp with next year, it’s considerably different,” Wedge said. “And that’s those young kids. As a baseball guy you’ve got to think that’s going to bode well. There are three-to-four guys with a chance to impact up here.
