I noticed a lot of new guys in this 2013 MLB season. I think they are going to make a huge impact on their teams now or in the future. Here are the new faces. 1.Atlanta Braves (Catcher/OF )Evan Gattis- Gattis stole our hearts with his remarkable story and journey to the majors. Gattis is batting .260  with 7 long balls and 19RBI’s. He is also an early candidate for NL Rookie of the Year. 2. Miami Marlins (Catcher) Rob Brantly- Brantly is the new everyday catcher for the Miami Marlins. He was acquired via trade last season from the Detroit Tigers along with Pitchers Jacob Turner and Brian Flynn for Marlins Pitcher Anibal Sanchez and Second Baseman Omar Infante. Although Brantly is only batting .222  with no home runs and 9RBI’s, he is very good defensively as a catcher. Among all qualified catchers in the majors, Brantly ranks fifth in caught stealing percentage at.385. He has caught 5 of 13 baserunners stealing and his fielding percentage is .994.
