MLB Stadiums

Posted August 13, 2008 on rofman's Blog:
Almost every major league team has moved into a new stadium in the last 10 years or so. But this quiz isn't about them. It's about the former homes of every major league team. Where did they call home before they moved into their current stadium. If a team hasn't moved, they're not included in this quiz. Or, if a stadium has just changed names, that team isn't included. We're talking about physical moves. Even teams that have been playing in their current stadiums for a long time (Red Sox, Cubs, Yankees) played somewhere before they were built. Test your useless baseball knowledge by seeing how many you can name in 5 minutes.

  • u should really get something for that, nice job, how could u just know that sh*t off the top of your head? the only way i know any is watching angels and dodgers games but too remember them jeeeez
  • 7/27....not a big old time baseball fan haha...some of them i just didnt spell right tho...good quiz
  • awesome quiz. 15/27.

I should have gotten the dodgers though, I thought I called it the right thing, but i didn't. I doubt many people know the Red Sox, I couldn't get it.
  • 11 out of 27
  • there needs to be some variations of answers...it should be able to understand atlanta-fulton county stadium is fulton county stadium! Lol, I tried typing that one 5 times, didn't ever end up getting it
  • same here thats exactly what i put and didnt get it theres gotta be some leeway
  • 24/27...knew all of them except the Cubs, Red Sox, and Twins. I actually remembered Metropolitan Stadium and should have gotten that one. Had no clue on the Cubs and Sox.
  • I got screw because I only put "County Stadium" for the Brew Crew and Coliseum with "The" before it.
  • 24/27. Of course missed the Cubs and Red Sox, but disappointed I missed the Twins. That one was during my lifetime.
  • 15. I thought it was LA Coliseum. I was clueless on the Cubs, Red Sox and Yankees though. Went blank on the Twins and Tigers, though I could picture them and they were right on the tip of my fingers.
  • 20/27 - Put Olympic Coliseum for LA . . . No clue on Red Sox . . . spaced the RFK nonsense and was trying to remember where the Expos played . . .
  • There were 4 or 5 stadiums that I got, but it didn't recognize. Needs some varience worked in.
  • 24/27 and I knew the Cubs. Needs to be some variance because it could have been field or grounds.
  • man i got a bunch of them right but i didnt get like park or stadium or field right. need to make it so if u type the title it works. 11/27
  • 24/27. I knew Metropolitan Stadium but I just couldn't think of it. It was driving me crazy. I just missed Cleveland because time ran out, and I also missed the Red Sox.
  • The Coliseum for LA is very misleading. I'm pretty sure it's the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Isn't Cleveland Municipal Stadium as well? How long did the Angels play in Dodger Stadium? I thought they played at Wrigley Field in Los Angeles before moving to the Big A.
