The Cardinals-Brewers feisty rivalry is quite underrated yet always prevalent, especially when both teams are competing for the division title and both teams send a heap of players to the All-Star Game. The rivalry tension was in full swing as Cardinals manager Mike Matheny tapped his own Adam Wainwright to start the game, pitching to the fan-voted starting catcher Jonathan Lucroy of the Brewers. After the Cards pitcher was lit up for three AL runs in the 1st inning, St. Louis fans turned to Twitter to vent their frustration…against Lucroy.   Dad & I both agree that Waino needs to catch Lucroy off guard & nail him in the back with a fastball. — Lauren (@Lo_Kitty_) July 16, 2014   Lucroy does not deserve to catch for Wainwright — Jordan Sutterer (@JordanSutterer) July 16, 2014   I blame all of this on Lucroy. You think Molina would let Waino give up two hits to start the game? Nope. — Brandon Boswell (@boswell_boz22) July 16, 2014   Good to see Lucroy screw over Waino #averageatbest — Clay Swanger (@Clay_bay_bay) July 16, 2014   Lucroy just called a horrible first inning for Waino. #BlameLucroy — Scott Stout (@Sstout33) July 16, 2014   It’s because Yadi isn’t catching #BlameLucroy — Nick Francis (@TheNickFrancis) July 16, 2014     Follow Andrew Doughty on Twitter @Adoughty88 Photo Courtesy: Christian Peterson/Getty Images Article found on: Next Impulse Sports
