With All-Star Bartolo Colon on the disabled list Jarrod Parker is now the A's ace - and he really has held that distinction for a month or more. Parker was at his best again Monday night at the Coliseum throwing his first career complete game in Oakland's 2-1 win over Seattle - a walk-off victory thanks to Brandon Moss' homer to dead center off Carter Capps with one out in the ninth inning. Moss said he didn't think his drive would travel far enough because it has been tough to hit balls out at night at the Coliseum this year. "I'm very surprised the ball went out" he said. "I was worried." The A's who remained a half-game behind Texas in the AL West have seven walk-off wins this season. They're 15-9 in games decided in the final at-bat. Moss did not get the customary walk-off pie to the face from Josh Reddick; Parker the man of the hour was the postgame TV interview.
