Charleston 5, Savannah 3 It was an up and down night for Luis Cessa, who managed to battle his way through six innings while allowing only three earned runs. He did serve up two home runs, with one being a two-run homer, that accounted for the runs charged to him. Overall, he allowed five hits and four walks, so he was dancing out of trouble all night. Cessa did not factor into the decision, however, as Julian Hilario allowed two runs in the eighth inning which broke the 3-3 tie and left him saddled with the loss. The Sand Gnats scored their three runs over the course of two innings, the second and third, without the benefit of a long ball. An RBI single by Jeffrey Glenn and a sacrifice fly by Yucary De La Cruz brought home two runs in the second, and Stefan Sabol doubled with two outs in the third to score Kevin Plawecki. Gabriel Ynoa should be taking the hill for Savannah tomorrow. Key Stats Yucary De La Cruz: 2-for-4, 1 2B, 1 RBI Maikis De La Cruz: 2-for-4, 1 2B, 1 R Stefan Sab...
