It is one thing to talk about your vision of the way things should be. When the vision becomes reality fewer words are needed. Manager Terry Francona when talking about the Indians' offense has frequently said "Since we don't have the big guy in the middle who is going to hit 30 homers we have to keep the line moving." The line has not moved well over the last couple of weeks but it moved Monday night as the Indians beat the Angels 5-2 behind a second straight strong start by Zach McAllister. McAllister (6-7 3.59) out-pitched Jered Weaver (7-7 3.62) who came into the game with a 7-2 lifetime record against the Indians. In his last two starts McAllister is 2-0 and has allowed two runs in 12 1/3 innings. The Indians took a 4-0 lead in the fourth an inning that featured the lineup moving in the direction Francona envisioned it.
