Marlins, Ryan Webb agree to one-year deal
MIAMI (AP) -- The Miami Marlins agreed to a one-year, 975,000 deal with right-hander Ryan Webb to avoid arbitration Friday.
The 26-year-old Webb made 480,000 in his second season with the Marlins, going 4-3 with a 4.03 ERA in 65 games.
Webb began his big league career with San Diego in 2009. He pitched two seasons with the Padres before being dealt to the Marlins.
