Trevor Plouffe (credits below) Trevor Plouffe demands your attention. It’s becoming comical at this point. With his 2-4, 2 home runs line, the Minnesota Twins’ slugger adds to his June totals. His monthly line so far: .396, 9 HRs, 16 RBIs, and a 1.462 OPS. Those are unreal numbers. With 7 (count them) HRs in his last 7 games, it’s going to be a disappointment when he doesn’t hit one out of the park. Thanks to all the various injured Twins, Plouffe qualifies for 2B/3B/SS/OF in most leagues. He’s your new cult fantasy star and I, for one, hope he continues this magical run. There were plenty of potential headlines for last Friday’s full deck of games. There were no real wrong answers for such an action-packed day. The Citrus Not So Sweet for Miami Hanley Ramirez was a scratch from the game after he was struck on the nose by a batted ball that bounced off a batting cage. The early news from trainers is that he will be fine. The Citrus Series got off to a poor start for the Miami Marlin...

Twins' Plouffe has turned into a top hitter

Trevor Plouffe got something Sunday only baseball's best hitters get: protection. Through Saturday, Plouffe...
