Former Reds outfielder Drew Stubbs was among several Major and Minor League players who participated in the University of Texas Alumni Weekend and Fan Appreciation Day over the weekend. The Texas alumnus joined fellow Longhorns alumni such as Giants first basemen Brandon Belt, White Sox outfielder Jordan Danks and Mariners pitcher Chance Ruffin in the baseball Alumni Game on Saturday. More than 2,500 fans received autographs from current and former players, while some even got the opportunity to play catch in the outfield grass. "It's a lot of fun because it's the first chance in a number of months to get together with some of our old teammates, get in front of these great fans and see where we stack up against the current guys," Stubbs said.
