This week’s Foul Paul! is dedicated to a reader who commented on one of our more recent posts saying “You guys might do better if you do more Buy/Sell and Waiver Wire posts rather than this silly stuff.”At the risk of being unique from the 5,000 other fantasy baseball sites, I immediately realized my mistake and have gone back to the drawing board. Let’s leave the creativity and sense of uniqueness to the military where it’s appreciated. Here is my Buy/Sell column.Buy – Josh Hamilton Being AwfulThis is my shocked face in regards to Josh Hamilton’s struggles – O: – It seems Angels ownership has dug themselves into quite the financial hole. His declining skills were obvious in the second half of last year, but the Angels wisely decided to pay him anyway. This will only end well. The Angels are the most irresponsible team monetarily without question. I wouldn’t trust them with a lemonade stand. Hamilton looks like a low average, medium power player with major injury issues. Holy crap, he’

Hamilton’s struggles at the plate have reached historic lows and there’s no signs indicating a turnaround in sight. Hamilton has 4 more years left on a 5 year $125 million contract he signed in the off season with the Angels.

ANAHEIM, Calif. Day after day, its the same thing. Josh Hamilton comes to the ballpark, takes his swings in the batting cage and then hopes something good will finally happen.
Maybe this is the game where he finds the source of his struggles. Maybe this at-bat will turn around his season. Maybe he wont strike out, or hit into a double play, or hear the boos he hears so often this...
There’s no easy way to say what must be said. In situations like this, where no amount of decorum or politeness will mask the sting of the words, it’s best to just go full steam ahead and hope for the best.

Faith is a funny thing. For some it defines who they are as a person. It serves as the guiding principle of their entire life. For others, it is a crutch, a convenient excuse, a self-defense mechanism. In a lot of cases, it is both of those things for one person and there is no better example of that than Josh Hamilton.
We all know that Josh Hamilton is a man of great faith....

In five trips to the plate, he hit into three double plays, and in the two at-bats where he didn’t make two outs, he struck out, including a ninth inning strikeout with the winning run in scoring position. For the day, he finished with a -.48 WPA, so while he didn’t single handedly cost them the game, he was the primary...
