Much like their crosstown counterparts, the Angels have flopped for most of the season after yet another big offseason. They’ve got the fearsome trio of Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, and Josh Hamilton…except unfortunately for them, Hamilton has not been very productive and Pujols – while still solid – is no longer the dominant force he was in St. Louis. Their biggest problem, however, has been pitching – only the Astros have allowed more runs this season. That said, the Halos do seem to be heating up a little bit after a really miserable start, and they are certainly still very talented. It’s a west coast road trip, and those are never easy.
