Last time

The Red Sox started the month of June in Toronto and they came out firing. David Ortiz, Adrian Gonzalez, and Daniel Nava combined for 9 hits and 5 RBI in the game 1 victory. Big Papi lifted a monster homer to left-center to continue his dominance of the Rogers Centre. The Sox came out firing again in game 2, but this time it was the Nick Punto show. Punto went 3-for-4, with a pair of RBI, and was a triple shy of the cycle. The Jays salvaged the final game behind starter, Drew Hutchison. That was Daniel Bard's final start before heading to Pawtucket. Bard went just 1 2/3 innings, giving up 5 runs on only 1 hit and 6 walks. That was brutal.

This time

Laser Show: Will Middlebrooks

It's a pretty safe bet that Middlebrooks is going to perform well against the Jays. He is rolling and the job at third is finally his, so he has to be feeling pretty good.
Pitch Around: Jose Bautista & Edwin Encarnacion

This tandem is scary. They combine for 44 home runs and 105 RBI and we are still 2 weeks away from the All-Star break. The one downfall that they share is the not-so-great batting averages...more so for Bautista. Encarnacion is batting .282 and Bautista is way behind with his .238 average, so I would be more afraid of Edwin rather than Jose who is all-or-nothing.

Don't Fall Behind: Ricky Romero

Romero is rolling this season and he is pitching well. Romero gets a lot of ground ball outs and the Sox have to make sure they stay away from the double plays. Oh, and he can still record plenty of outs via the strikeout. Romero has recorded 6+ strikeouts in 5 outings this season.

How we see it goin' down

The Sox are flying high and more order has been restored in the clubhouse. The lineup can return to normal and not they won't have to worry about getting everyone in. As long as pitching can hold up (I'm talking about you Lester, and surprisingly not Dice-K), the Sox can do some damage. Again, I may be too optimistic, but I am going with a Sox sweep of the Jays.
